We have detonated nuclear bombs in the ocean before; and we did not care about the ocean, the wildlife, or the long-term environmental impact. WHY, when President Obama has a perfectly good reason to plug this leaking hole with a nuclear explosion, does he not press the button?
All the clean-up efforts are WORTHLESS if the OIL does not stop flowing!
Taking the wildlife from Louisiana to Florida will not work. It will put more stress on the animals. It is not ecologically sound for the bird rescues to do this. Humans have already destroyed sensitive habitats by bringing in invasive species.
And why does the U.S. not seize the assets of BP? They have repeatedly lied to the American people. If some terrorist had done this on purpose, do you think we would stop to think before killing him? If a terrorist killed 11 Americans, blew up an oil rig, and destroyed the coastlines and beaches from Louisiana to Florida - would we wait 45 days to arrest him?
